Frequently Asked Questions:
What if I can’t find an open appointment time?
The scheduler books out at least one month in advance, and I add additional appointment times whenever I am able, so check back again.
If you want to schedule a session but are not finding any openings, email me at karen@handtopaw.com and we can work together to find an appointment time. In these cases, you will receive an email invoice for payment prior to our session.
What is the re-scheduling and cancellation policy?
To change an existing appointment:
Please go to your Square confirmation email. There is a 48 hour change policy. You can re-book to a new time within the next month it you are changing within 48 hours of your reserved time.
To cancel an existing appointment:
Please go to your Square confirmation email. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. You can cancel your appointment if you are withing 48 hours of your reserved time.
If you are within the 48 hour window of your reserved session time:
Still go to your Square confirmation email to re-schedule or cancel.
In addition, please alert us by email at karen@handtopaw.com prior to your appointment time.
Please understand that not showing up for an appointment affects valuable appointment time, and is not fair to other clients who are also trying to book appointments. If appointments are cancelled with less than 48 hour notice, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee. For day-of appointments re-scheduled, cancelled or no-show, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee equal to the session fee, as it takes the appointment opportunity away from someone else who would have benefited from the session time. If this happens more than twice, we reserve the right to block further scheduling . Thank you for your understanding.
About Animal Communication Sessions:
Is it ok if my animal is already in spirit?
Yes! They can be still living in a physical body, or transitioned into their spirit selves.
Is it ok if it’s not my own animal?
Yes – The animal you choose to connect in with may be your animal, or an animal you’ve shared time with or had a memorable experience with.
Can it be any type of animal species?
Yes – we can connect in with any animal that you’ve had a connection with.
Will I need my animal to be right with me for this?
No – only you will be there in person, and we will connect in energetically with your animal through you and your connection to them.
What is a session like?
Think of Karen as the middle-being, sharing messages between you and your animal.
She’ll first connect in with you, your energy, and your personality.
Then you share your animal’s name, as well as their species, gender, and if they are alive or in spirit.
She’ll then connect in with your animal, their energy, and their personality.
Information may come through as something seen, heard, felt, or received as a computer download (which may be referred to as a “knowing”).
Many times messages come though symbolically, so may become clearer after you’ve had time to reflect on it.
There may be quiet times as Karen connects in and receives information, before communicating it back to you.
You’ll be able to ask one question to, or about, your animal. (So you can start to think in advance about what you’d like to ask them!)
At that point, you will go deeper into the Soul Level to find out HOW they are working with you (ie, through what behaviors), WHAT lessons they are working on, WHAT you need to be doing to work on this lesson, and HOW you will know when you are making progress in their lesson.
About learning “How To” with Intuition, Reiki Healing, or Animal Communication:
To learn about developing your own intutive abilities (you already have them, it’s just about connecting with and stregnthening them!) you can book a time in my schedule that we work on educating you, rather than me directly giving a session.
